This whiskey tumbler was hand raised from a .9mm s/silver sheet with the guidance of George Lucas a well known silver smith here in Perth.I have been very fortunate that George has taken the time to teach me.I had it gold plated on the inside, and to make this experience even better it has already sold!!!!.

It's lovely, Willem. Did you do one of George's classes at Fremantle, or was it personal tuition? He's such a lovely man, and so very talented. I'm very envious that you've been able to work with him. I had a close look at some of his raised pieces at JMGA one night. So beautifully executed and immaculately finished.

After signing up so I could follow you when you first started this blog, I've finally started blogging too. Just thought I'd let you know I'm on here now and posting work.

Happy New Year!
